Mustafiz welcomes his bride with blessing-affection

Satkhira Correspondent: Wedding reception of Mustafizur Rahman, the pace sensation of Bangladesh, was held in gorgeous fashion in his hometown Satkhira on Saturday. 

The wedding recepition was held at Fizz’s home Tetulia under Kaliganj upazila of the district. The family of Mustafiz welcomed the bride to their home with blessing and affection.

Nearly 3,000 guests of all walks of lives including relatives, near and dear ones and locals attended the function.

Thought the reception scheduled to be held at noon. Guests started to reach the function since morning on the day.

Mustafiz was sitting with his wife Sumaiya Parvin Shimu on the decorated stage. He, however, was silent as always to media.

His father Abul Kashem Gazi sought prayers and blessings to the countrymen for his new daughter-in-law and son as well.

Former Health Minister, also incumbent lawmaker (Satkhira-3) Dr A F M Ruhul Haque, District Awami League President Mansur Ahmed, General Secretary of the party and Chairman of District Council Nazrul Islam, Superintendent of Police (SP) in Satkhira Sazzadur Rahman, among others, attended the ceremony.

Earlier on March 22, Mustafizur Rahman tied the know with his cousin Sumaiya Parvin Shimu. Her father Rownakul Islam Babu is maternal uncle (brother of mother) of Fizz. Shimu is a Psychology student of Dhaka University.

Mustafiz got married his cousin Shimu with the willing of his mother, according to his family sources.
