Night guard killing, 3 ‘robbers’ killed in Feni ‘gunfight’

Three suspected robbers were killed in a ‘gunfight’ with police at Beker Bazar under Dagonbhuiyan upazila in Feni early Thursday.

The gunfight took place when they were leaving Beker Bazar after murdering a night guard of the market.

The night guard was identified as Abdul Mannan alias Manu, 45, son of Nurnobi of Ashrafpur village of the upazila.

Officer-in-Charge of Dagonbhuiyan Thana Aslam Sikdar confirmed the matter.

The deceased robbers could not be identified immediately.
