‘No rooftop celebrations on 31st night’

No celebrations are allowed on the rooftops on the night of December 31 to celebrate the New Year, said DMP Commissioner Mohammad Shafikul Islam.

The DMP boss said this on security measures ahead of the New Year on Monday.

"No outdoor celebration is also allowed," he said adding that strict measures will be taken ahead of the thirty first night. 

He said the city-dwellers have to inform DMP about any  programmes so that the law enforcers can provide safety to the people.
