Now educational institutions need advance approval

Staff Correspondent: The Education Ministry will not allow any educational institutions in primary and higher secondary level without advance approval from the ministry.

The ministry will also take a decision to repeal MPO status of those institutions in which no students passed this year’s HSC or equivalent exams.

A circular signed by A K M Zakir Hossain Bhuiyan, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Education, has been issued in this regard on Wednesday evening.

The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) and concerned education board will take measures in this regard, the circular said.
