One dies in trawler capsize

A man has died and several people have been gone missing after a boat capsized in Pasur River on Sunday morning at Mongla upazila in Bagerhat district.

According to sources, the boat capsized around 9.00am as a dredger hit it.  On information, Bangladesh Coast Guard and Fire Service members went to the spot and began a search and rescue operation.

A body has been recovered so far, and the deceased was identified as Sundar Biswas, 55, at Loudor village under Dakop upazila in Khulna.
