PM phones Mohammad Nasim’s son to express condolences

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Saturday called Tanvir Shakil Joy to express her condolences over demise of Awami League presidium member, former minister and spokesperson of central 14-party Mohammad Nasim.

Awami League Office Secretary and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's Special Assistant Barrister Biplab Barua confirmed the matter.

Earlier, in a condolence message, Prime Minister said, “Mohammad Nasim like his father Captain M Mansur Ali worked for the welfare of the country following the ideals of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.”

The Premier prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
