PUBG banned in Bangladesh

Online game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) has been banned in Bangladesh.

The authority banned the game PlayerUnknown’s citing its “negative effects” on the country’s citizens. Following the order no one will be able to install the game in Bangladesh.

Afam Ali Kibria, an official of Cyber Security and Cyber Crimes Division of DMP confirmed the matter on Friday.

“There was a discussion-criticizing centering the game. Later, investigation took place. It was known that youths are becoming addicted to the game,” the official said.
