Patuakhali put under lockdown

Patuakhali has placed under lockdown after two persons died of coronavirus in the district.

The lockdown was declared to be effective from Sunday evening and will continue until further notice.

Md Motiul Islam, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Patuakhali, confirmed the news in a press release on Sunday noon.

However, emergency services will remain out of the purview of the lockdown.
