Peddler held with Yaba at Anowara

Coast Guard held a drug peddler with 7,200 pieces of Yaba tablets conducting drive at Gohira area of Anowara upazila in Chattogram on Saturday afternoon.

The detainee was identified as Md Solaiman, 43.

Law enforcers also seized a CNG-run auto-rickshaw which was used for carrying the Yaba tablets, Tk 7,500 and a mobile phone during the drive.

Lt Shah Zia Rahman, Media Official of Coast Guard (East Zone), confirmed the news.

Solaiman along with Yaba tablets was handed over to Anowara Police Station for ensuring further legal steps, according to Coast Guard.
