Pirojpur-Kolkata bus service launched

A bus service from Pirojpur to India’s Kolkata has been launched.

Deputy Commissioner Abu Ali Md Sazzad Hossain and Superintendent of police Hayatul Islam Khan inaugurated the service at Pirojpur Zila Bus Terminal on Friday morning.

As a result, passengers can now travel to India directly through Benapole land port by using Green Line Paribahan.

Passengers will have to pay Tk1,200 to travel Kolkata-Pirojpur while Rs1,000 has been fixed for the Kolkata-Pirojpur route.
