Poet Nirmalendu Goon hospitalized

Eminent poet Nirmalendu Goon has been admitted to a city hospital after he fell ill due to respiratory complications.

LabAid Hospital public relation officer Saiful Islam Lenin said, the poet is being kept at the intensive care unit of the Hospital under the supervision of physician Baren Chakrabarty.

His condition is stable, Saiful Islam added.

Bangla Academy, Swadhinota and Ekushey Padak winning veteran poet Nirmalendu Goon was hospitalised on Wednesday.
