Police constable killed in road crash

A police constable has been killed in a road accident at Kalihati in Tangail.

The accident took place around 11.00am on Saturday in Salla area of Tangail-Bangabandhu bridge highway.

The deceased is Ariful Islam, 40, a member of Special Branch, and son of Abdul Latif at Ullapara in Sirajganj.

According to sources, a bus hit his motorcycle when he was going to Dhaka, leaving him dead on the spot.
