Police officer dies of coronavirus in Rajshahi

A police officer named Mosharrof Hossain has died of coronavirus in Rajshahi.

He breathed his last around 10.30pm on Friday at Christian Mission Hospital.

Deputy Director of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital Dr. Saiful Ferdous confirmed the matter.

The 57-year old police officer hailed from Sujanagar in Pabna. He used to reside with family in a rented house in Chandipur area of Rajshahi city. His posting was in Naogaon.

Sample of Mosharrof Hossain was collected on Wednesday. He tested positive for coronavirus on Thursday.

He was admitted to Christian Mission Hospital on Friday morning.
