Policemen to get lifetime rations

Policemen are demanding lifetime rations for two family members of retired members for a long time. The government is now considering meeting their demand.

In this regard, the finance ministry has sent a letter to the home ministry for more review.

According to sources, on December 26 last year the home ministry sent a letter to finance ministry. In responding to the letter, the finance ministry on January 13 sent a letter signed by Joint Secretary Ashraf Uddin Khan. The letter said to review further the matter of lifetime rations for two family members of a retired policeman.

After getting response from the home ministry, the finance ministry will take the next step.
