Polls to Chattogram City Corporation Mar 29

The elections to the Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) will be held on March 29.

Election Commission Senior Secretary Md Alamgir announced the schedules for the polls at a press conference at the media centre of Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital on Sunday.

The elections would be held through Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs), he said.

According to the schedule, the last date for nomination paper submission is February 27. Nomination papers will be verified on March 1.

Last date of withdrawing candidacy is March 8. Symbols will be distributed on March 9.

On the same day, Bogura-1 and Jashore-6 will also go through by-polls. However, the voting on these two constituencies will be held through ballots.
