Power is not permanent, says Quader

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has urged party leaders and activist not show up power and to maintain well-manner.

He said, “The AL leaders and workers are in a good time. But, the good time may not exist always as power is not permanent. Do not show temperament of power and remain polite.”

The Road Transport and Bridges Minister said this while addressing the inaugural session of the triennial councils of Rangpur district and city units of AL at Public Library ground on Friday noon.

Quader also suggested the party men to say not to the ‘cuckoos of the spring’, opportunists, intruders, corrupts, tender manipulators, terrorists, extortionists and land grabbers rather evaluate dedicated and deprived leaders of rough times of the party.

He cautioned the AL leaders and workers not to build a house inside own house or hang a mosquito net inside own mosquito net.

“We have to evaluate dedicated and honest leaders to save the country, spirit of War of Liberation, democracy to further strengthening the hands of Sheikh Hasina,” Quader said.

“None remains as a leader for life long. Time has come to infuse pure blood in the party,” he said.
