Primary teachers observe work abstention programme

Primary teachers  oberved full day work abstention on Thursday in all primary schools across the country to press home their demands including implementation of 10th and 11th grade in pay scale for them.

According to their schedule of the programmes, they observed various programmes last three days. If their demands are not met, they will  hold a grand rally on October 23 in the capital, leaders of primary schools’ teachers said.

They also threatened to declare tougher movement if their demands are not met by October 23.

Mohammad Shamsuddin Masud, member secretray of Bangladesh Primary School Teachers’ Association (Compined), said we are  observing various programmes demanding implementation of 10the grade for head masters and 11th grade for assistant teachers in pay scale.
