Procession, rally banned in Tangail

The local administration in Tangaill has banned all kinds of rallies and processions in the district to contain the risk of spreading coronavirus or COVID-19.

A public notice signed by Md Shahidul Islam, deputy commissioner of Tangail, was issued in this regard on Saturday (March 21).

All coaching centres, recreational parks, community centres, and restaurants in the district will remain closed alongside the rallies and processions, the notice said.
