RAB destroys 4 poppy fields in Keokradong

The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has destroyed four poppy fields in Keokradong Hilly area of Bandarban's Ruma Upazila.

The members of RAB-7 conducted a drive in the area around 7:00am which continued 12:00pm on Friday. Meanwhile,

RAB-7 officer Mashiur Rahman said, the elite force recovered around 60kg of poppy nectar from the four fields. Later, the nectar and poppy farms were destroyed.

A case will be filed in this connection.
