RMCH nurse sent to Dhaka on suspicion of being corona infected

A nurse of Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital (RMCH) has been referred to Dhaka on suspicion of being infected with coronavirus.

She was admitted to Kurmitola General Hospital in the capital on Tuesday night.

Dr Saiful Ferdous, deputy director of RMCH, confirmed the news.

He said the nurse along with an Italy-returnee returned to Rajshahi from Dhaka by bus. She felt fever just after she reached Rajshahi. So, she doubted of being infected with coronavirus.

She had been kept in isolation in a hospital in Rajshahi since March 21. On Tuesday morning, she was referred to Dhaka as her health condition deteriorated, he added.
