Rape of DU student: Father files complaint

The father of the raped Dhaka University student has filed a complaint with Cantonment Police Station. 

He filed the complaint on Sunday night but it was not recorded yet, sources said.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Cantonment Police Station Kazi Shahan Haque told risingbd, “Victim’s father filed the complaint on Sunday night but it was not recorded. Now, it is under process.” 

A second-year student of Dhaka University was allegedly raped and tortured in the capital’s Kurmitola area on Sunday night.

Her fellow students and several DU employees brought her to Dhaka Medical College Hospital around midnight and got her admitted there.
