Rape of DU student: Case filed against one

A case has been filed against one person in connection with the rape of a Dhaka University student.

Victim’s father filed the case with Cantonment Police Station on Monday. 

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Cantonment Police Station Kazi Shahan Haque told risingbd, “Victim’s father filed the case accusing one person.” 

A second-year student of Dhaka University was allegedly raped and tortured in the capital’s Kurmitola area on Sunday night.

Her fellow students and several DU employees brought her to Dhaka Medical College Hospital around midnight and got her admitted there.
