Ratan's Dental Dr Ratan dies with corona-like symptoms

Dr Syed Tamijul Ahsan Ratan, chief consultant at Ratan's Dental, has died with symptoms similar to that of coronavirus or Covid-19.

Dentist and columnist Dr Sayanth Sakhawat, a close aide of Dr Ratan, confirmed the matter on Monday (June 29).

Dr Ratan breathed his last at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Japan-Bangladesh Friendship Hospital in the capital early today, he said.

Dr Ratan was admitted to the hospital with coronavirus-like symptoms on Saturday last. Later, he was shifted to the ICU when his health condition deteriorated, he added.
