Foreign ministry sends letter to India for Hasina’s extradition

The ministry of foreign affairs has sent letter to Indian government to send back the ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina.
Home adviser Jahangir Alam said this in a press conference on Monday noon (December 23).
He said we have clearly informed India that we want her back for trial.
In reply to a question regarding return process, he said we have a prisoner exchange agreement with India. It will be done according to that agreement.
Sheikh Hasina fled to India on 5 August in the face of a mass uprising led by students. She has been in India since then.
