Rohingya children to get access to education

The government has taken decision on principle to allow access to Rohingya children to education formally.

They will be taught according to the curriculum of Myanmar. However, detailed methodology in this connection has yet not been fixed.

Md Delwar Hossai, Managing Director of Rohingya Affairs Cell of the Foreign Ministry, on Wednesday confirmed the news.

He said, “The government has taken the decision in a recent meeting of Task Force formed over Rohingya.”

He further said, “The government has taken decision on principle. The children will be provided teachings according Myanmar curriculum so that they could adopt in Myanmar after returning from Bangladesh.”
