Rumeen Farhana wants 10-katha plot at Purbachal

Staff Correspondent: BNP's reserved seat MP Barrister Rumeen Farhana has appealed for a 10-katha plot from government in Purbachal area of the capital.
She sent a letter to Housing and Public Works Minister SM Rezaul Karim on August 3 in this regard.
The letter has already gone viral on the social media platform Facebook.
In the letter, the lawmaker wrote: “I have no land or flat in the capital Dhaka. I have no other business or profession except practicing in Supreme Court. So, I need a 10-katha plot in Purbachal area”.
Barrister Rumeen Farhana, BNP's lone MP-elect from a seat reserved for women in parliament, took oath as a lawmaker on June 9.
After taking oath, Rumeen said the present government is illegal and this parliament has no connection with the people of Bangladesh.
