SC orders GP to pay Tk 1,000cr more

The Supreme Court (SC) has directed Grameenphone (GP) to pay Tk 1,000 crore more to Bangladesh Telecom Regulatory Commission (BTRC) within three months.

A bench of the Appellate Division headed by Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain passed the order on Monday.

Earlier, the Supreme Court directed Grameenphone (GP) to pay Tk 1,000 crore to Bangladesh Telecom Regulatory Commission (BTRC).

Following the order, GP paid Tk 1,000 crore to BTRC on Sunday.
