Satkhira road crash leaves minor girl dead

Satkhira Correspondent: A minor girl was killed as a human-hauler (locally known as Mahendra) hit her in Debhata upazila of the district on Saturday morning.

Locals said the human-hauler hit Nasima Khatun, 4, while she was crossing a road in Gazirhat Argani Bank adjacent area.

Locals took the injured girl to Sakhipur Hospital where doctors declared her dead.

Biplob Kumar Saha, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Debhata Police Station, said police detained human-hauler driver Ayub Hossain (38).
