Sayeed Khokon breaks into tears

Dhaka South City Corporation Mayor Sayeed Khokon broke into tears while collecting nomination form from Awami League on Thursday noon.

Khokon said, “Dear dwellers of Dhaka, my father was the favourite leader of yours. I joined politics following steps of my father. I lost my father. My leader Sheikh Hasina is in the position of my father now.”

“I am passing a very hard time now in my political career. So, I am seeking blessings from dwellers of Dhaka in this hard time,” he said.

Earlier, he collected nomination form from AL president's Dhanmondi office to join mayoral race.
