Schoolgirl dies of dengue

A 11-year-old girl has died of dengue fever at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

The deceased, Tarin, was a student of class five. She was daughter of Nasir Talukdar, hailed from Masuakhali village of Gosairhat thana in Shariatpur district.

The school girl took her last breath around 3:00pm on Tuesday, after being admitted with dengue on September 12.  

Sources said Tarin was diagnosed with dengue fever in the last month and took treatment from local hospitals. Later, she was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
