Serial killer Babu Sheikh arrested

Police arrested serial killer Babu Sheikh alias Kalu along with two of his associates from Natore rail station area on Saturday evening.

Rajshahi Range DIG AKM Hafiz Akter told this to the reporters at the office of Superintendent of Police (SP) on Sunday noon.

He said, “Babu Sheikh used to roam different districts in disguise of fish trader and find out houses without male. Later at a convenient time, he used to enter the house and kill woman by strangulation and fled the scene with money and ornaments.”

“Babu confessed to his direct involvement in eight murders,” he added.
