Service holders asked to stay at workplace during Eid holidays

Officials and employees of all government and non-government institutions have been asked to stay at respective workplace during Eid holidays.
The Public Administration Ministry issued a notification in this regard on Monday (July 13) night.
Earlier on Monday noon, Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam said, ‘This time holiday on Eid-ul-Azha will not be extended. It will be for three days. The government officials and employees will have to stay at workplace respectively.’
He said this in a briefing at the Secretariat after virtual cabinet meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in chair.
Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated on July 31 or August 01 subjected to sighting the moon of Zil Hajj.
