Seven people with coronavirus symptons have been put in isolation unit of Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Diseases (BITID) in Fouzderhat of Chattogram.
Chattogram Civil Surgeon Dr Sheikh Fazle Rabbi confirmed the matter describing the coronavirus situation in last 24 hours in the port city on Wednesday (April 1).
Sample tests of a total of 33 people have been completed in last seven days in Chattogram but none of them has been found to be infected with coronavirus but seven have been kept in isolation of the BITID after they started showing coronavirus-like symptoms such as fever, cold, cough and breathing difficulties, the civil surgeon said.
