Shakib dismissed by 1st ball, huge pressure on Bangladesh

Sports Desk: Dream starts for the visiting Afghanistan as they sent a huge wicket Shakib Al Hasan back to the pavilion by the very first ball of return after rain.

Just after resumption, Zahir Khan strikes on the first ball. Shakib camped back in order to cut and got a feather to it. Zazai clinched the ball very swiftly and made Shakib return.

Afghanistan are just three wickets away from an emphatic Test win.

Earlier, the play of fifth day of the one-off Test between Bangladesh and Afghanistan started at 4:20pm for the second time at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Monday.

After overnight an early morning shower wiped off the first session, the play started at 1:00pm and Bangladesh were set 63 overs to survive in order to save the game.

But rain returned after just 13 balls of the resumption. Afghanistan could bowl just 2.1 overs, without inflicting further damage in the second innings of Bangladesh, who resumed at 136-6.
