Six Jhut warehouses gutted in fire

Six Jhut warehouses were gutted in a fire broke out in Tongi Millgate area under Gazipur City Corporation on Thursday morning.

Senior Station Officer of Tongi Fire Station Md Atikur Rahman said the fire originated around 5.15am. Being informed, seven firefighting units rushed to the spot and extinguished the blaze with an effort of one and half hour.

The origin and loss of the fire could not be known immediately.
