Smart card distribution among Kaliganj Freedom Fighters

Local office of Election Commission (EC) has begun smart card distribution among Freedom Fighters on the occasion of Victory Day at Kaliganj upazila in Gazipur.  

Chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs Meher Afroz Chumki MP inaugurated the programmme on Wednesday noon.  

There were Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Shibli Sadique presided over the programme.

Upazila EC official Farzana Nur, Upazila Chairman Md. Moyazzem Hossain Polash, Vice Chairman Advocate Maksud Ul Alam Masud, Officer-in-charge (OC) A K M Mijanul Haque and freedom fighters of different unions were present in the programme.

EC official Farzana Nur told to risingbd that they prepared for 412 freedom fighters found in the list of Upazila Social Services Department.
