Sri Lanka set 315-run target for Bangladesh

Sports Desk: Sri Lanka have set a target of 315 runs for Bangladesh in the first ODI of three-match series at R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Friday.

The hosts posted 314 runs, thanks to a brilliant ton of Kusal Perera, losing 8 wickets in 50 overs.

Perera smashed a quick innings of 111 runs off 99 balls with 17 fours and a six.

Angelo Mathews posted 48 runs off 52 balls with 3 fours while Kusal Mendis secured 43 runs from 49 balls with 4 fours.

Dimuth Karunaratne hit 36 runs off 37 balls which includes 4 fours while Lahiru Thirimanne 25 runs from 30 balls.

For Bangladesh, Shafiul Islam hit 3 wickets while Mustafizur Rahman bagged 2 wickets.

Mehidy Hasan, Rubel Hossain and Soumya Sarkar shared a wicket each.
