Sports Desk: Sri Lanka are set to tour Pakistan for a limited-overs series in September-October.

Both the teams will be playing three T20Is and as many ODIs.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the disclosure on Friday.

The two matches under the ICC World Test Championship has been shifted to December.

The limited-overs series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will start from September 27 and will end on 9 October.

The Sri Lankan team will arrive in Pakistan on September 25 to take part in the series and will leave the country on October 10 following the completion of the limited-overs series.

A two-member security delegation of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) had arrived in Pakistan on Wednesday to check whether Sri Lanka’s tour of Pakistan would be a safe option for the side.

However, after the checks, it was decided that the Dimuth Karunaratne-led side will only travel to Pakistan for about 10 days to play out the limited-overs series while the two Test matches under ICC World Test Championship will be played in December.
