Stay where you are in: IGP

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Benazir Ahmed urged people to stay inside home so that the spread of coronavirus can be contained.

"Stay where you are in and don’t' go outside home to help the government tackle the situation triggered by coronavirus, " he said while addressing a press briefing held at Rajarbag Police Lines in the capital on Tuesday (May 19) noon.

The IGP requested people not to go village home this year to celebrate upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr with near and dear ones in the wake of coronavirus outbreak.

He also urged the people to comply with the health guidelines set by the government to combat coronavirus in the country.
