Steps to be taken to execute Abdul Majed promptly: Home Minister

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said steps would be taken to execute promptly Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s self-confessed killer captain Abdul Majed (sacked).

Citing the arrest is the best gift of Mujib Year, the Minister said, “We had been waiting to bring back the convicted killer for execution. Captain Abdul Majed has been caught by police. Now legal steps will be taken to execute him promptly.”

The Minister also thanked police men who were involved in arresting the killer.

Kamal said, “Majed’s wife Sana Begum resides in the cantonment residential area.”
