The teachers and students of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) have taken an oath against terrorism and communal forces on the campus.
Rafia Rezawana, a student of 17th batch, read out the oath this noon.
Vice-chancellor professor Saiful Islam, along with faculty deans and hall provosts joined the programme.
Meanwhile, the BUET students formally ended their demonstration.
Earlier, Abrar Fahad, a 2nd-year student, was brutally murdered inside the Sher-e-Bangla Hall early on October 7. The murder triggered protests across the country and BUET students halted academic activities.
