Surath Kumar again made Principal Information Officer

Surath Kumar Sarker has again been appointed as Principal Information Officer of the Information Department.

The Public Administration Ministry issued a circulation in this regard on Tuesday.

He was made chief information officer on June 27, 2019. Earlier, he was deputy director general of Bangladesh Television (BTV).

Surath Kumar is currently on Post Retirement Leave (PRL). He has been nominated for “Sudhachar Award” in FS 2019-2020 recently. Then, he went on PRL.

The BCS 84th batch officer has performed various important duties in the Ministry of Information, Ministry of Education, National Parliament Secretariat, Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, Primary and Mass Education Ministry and Bangladesh Film Censor Board.
