That auto-rickshaw driver tests coronavirus negative

The report of a auto-rickshaw driver who died with coronavirus-like symptoms in Sylhet Shaheed Shamsuddin Ahmed Hospital on April 25 came back negative.

Dr Mokhlesur Rahman Ujjal, deputy civil surgeon of Habiganj, confirmed the matter on Monday (April 27) night.

The auto-rickshaw driver Ferdous, 32, lived at Harirampur village in Nizampur union of Habiganj Sadar upazila.

Nizampur Union Parishad Chairman Md Taj Uddin Ahmed said Ferdous was admitted to Habiganj 250-bed sadar hospital with breathing complications on April 22. Later, he was referred to Sylhet Shaheed Shamsuddin Ahmed Hospital when his condition deteriorated.
