This budget will create new jobs: PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that it is a challenge for her government to create employment opportunities for 20 lakh youths who join the labour market every year.

The Prime Minister said “This year's budget has been prepared to create new employment opportunities for them”.

She said this while addressing the 8th budget session of the eleventh Jatiya Sangsad on Monday.\

Assuring the countrymen, Sheikh Hasina said “Bangladesh will move forward by overcoming all obstacles. We never failed to implement the budget in the past. It will not happen in the future”.

“Whatever crisis comes, the government will deal with it firmly. One person in the country will not pass their days with hungry” she said.

The Prime Minister said “We always set a goal and move forward with a specific action plan and we will be able to implement the budget”.
