‘Three killed ex-Eden college vice-principal’

Staff Correspondent: Three people took part in the murder of Mohammad Ali Hossain Malek, 68, a retired vice-principal of Zoology department of Eden Mohila College, police said.

Nazrul Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Bhasantek Police Station, told risingbd.com on Wednesday: “Ali Hossain alone stayed at the fourth floor of his office in the capital’s Old DOHS. Ali’s driver, care taker and several employees were also stayed at the building. He might be stabbed to death by the staff of his own office.”

Among the three, caretaker Salim Miah has been detained for getting information in this regard, the OC added.

He said police got details of two employees who fled from the house immediate after the incident.

His family said Ali Hossain joined real estate company as manager some eight to nine years ago after he left Eden College.

Ali Hossain was found dead at his office located at 53/A, Road Number 2 in the capital’s Old DOHS on Tuesday morning.
