Three ministers to visit Walton factory Sunday

Two ministers and one state minister are set to visit Walton Hi-Tech Industries Limited (WHIL) at Chandra in Gazipur on Sunday (March 1, 2020).

They are Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal, Post and Telecommunication Minister Mustafa Jabbar and Information and Communication Technology Division’s State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak.

During the visit, they will officially inaugurate the Walton’s newly built Elevator or Lift Manufacturing Factory and also will launch the maiden export of Bangladeshi made smartphone to US.

In addition, the ministers will unveil the local brand’s newly produced All-in-One PC as well as Walton’s own invented TV operating system ROS (Rezvi Operating System).

Walton Group’s Executive Director Uday Hakim said Walton is called as Bangladesh’s electronic giant. It is also said that Walton is Bangladeshi multi-national brand. Our aim is to establish ourselves in international market. I hope Walton will be able to achieve strong position in the world market.

Walton is moving forward as per its roadmap. Two ministers and one state minister will get an experience of the progress, he added.
