Titas’ death for ferry delay: Probe body formed

Madaripur Correspondent: The district administration has formed a four-member probe body to investigate into the death of schoolboy Titas in an ambulance on a ferry after the vessel allegedly waited three hours at the Kathalbari Ferry Terminal Thursday night for a government high official.
Madaripur district magistrate Md Shahidul Haque Patwari has been made convener of the committee while Shibchar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Asaduzzaman, ASP (Shibchar circle) Md Abir Hossain, BIWTC AGM AKM Shahajahan members.
Md Wahidul Islam, deputy commissioner (DC) of Madaripur confirmed the news on Monday.
He said, “The committee was told to submit report within a week.
