Trader hacked to death in Jashore

A trader named Abdur Rahman was hacked to death by miscreants at Mollapara in Jashore over a land dispute on Saturday morning.

Salauddin Babu, brother of the deceased, said Abdur Rahman had a dispute over a piece of land with Metho Kuddus, Akram, Farooq, Badal, Shah Alam and Nur Hossain in the same area.

Following the dispute, Metho Kuddus hacked Abdur Rahman with sharp weapons around 9.00am, leaving him seriously injured. Then, relatives sent him to Jashore General Hospital where duty doctors declared him dead. 

Being informed, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kotwali thana Moniruzzaman visited the spot, and he said that operations have been launched to arrest the killers.
