A cargo train has derailed in Sirajganj, halting the rail communications of Dhaka with Khulna and Rajshahi.
Two bogies of a goods-laden train derailed in Soydabad area of Bangabandhu Bridge West Rail Station around 8.00am on Tuesday.
Officer-in-Charge of Sirajganj Railway Police confirmed the news.
