Transport workers block Dhaka-Sylhet, Dhaka-Ctg highway

All vehicular movement on the Dhaka-Narayanganj, Dhaka-Sylhet and Dhaka-Chattagram routes has come to a halt as transport workers blocked the highways in protest of implementation of new road transport act.

On Wednesday, they took the highways and blocked all vehicular movement on the roads. 

It was learnt that workers stopped all passenger transports, even smaller vehicles.

Transport workers have taken positions at Signboard, Shimrail and Kanchpur of Dhaka-Sylhet and Dhaka-Chattogram highwyas.
